Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Bourceanu having to interfere. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Bourceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão Souto in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match, Niko Leibrandt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niko Leibrandt's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Denis Bourceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Bourceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 41st minute. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Niko Leibrandt sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Rato Scheufens came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rato Scheufens struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Tapiales - Münster. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Tapiales - Münster's goalkeeper Denis Bourceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Niko Leibrandt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Alberto Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
