Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Norino Tostado sent off a good shot on target. Birila Graña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurinho Mendonça. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 28th minute of play. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Birila Graña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Maurinho Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manu Betancur hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Maurinho Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Claretiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurinho Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claretiano FC's Manu Betancur managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alonso Berganza in the 44 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Mendonça in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 51 played minutes Claretiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Norino Tostado. In the 56th minute, Maurinho Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eliseo Mina took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Birila Graña. Birila Graña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. In the 66th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Claretiano FC's Gelacio Salceda was substituted for Qu Lei Chang. Claretiano FC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benigno Viñal took the corner. Birila Graña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurinho Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Birila Graña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute, Rafael Gallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Claretiano FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
