Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Björkhöjden got a freekick which was hit by Elof Wassenius. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hans Löfgren. Björkhöjden's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Rufio in the 14th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Björkhöjden's Isak Lundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Löfgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Vennerdal in the 31st minute. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Löfgren having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Mexico's Luca Rouco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luca Rouco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luca Rouco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 43rd minute, one of Mexico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexico. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Björkhöjden's Mark Björnsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dante Lacasa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Björnsson to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Jack Vennerdal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Björkhöjden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 58th minute, Ingmar Qvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björkhöjden's Ronny Sillén was substituted for Roger Bengtsson. In the 64th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Björkhöjden's Hans Löfgren didn't even have to move. In the 65th minute, Ivar Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Olsson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Hans Löfgren made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Björnsson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hans Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Hans Löfgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Vennerdal came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Björkhöjden were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
