Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by 肖伟义 in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when 肖伟义 came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Skarpa Ełk got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doğuhan Alpaslan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. In the 35thth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skarpa Ełk's Ken Kot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when 肖伟义 scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 肖伟义 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, 肖伟义 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. After having played for 55 minutes, Di Song Jun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skarpa Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Di Song Jun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Skarpa Ełk's 肖伟义 made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Di Song Jun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 肖伟义, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skarpa Ełk's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doğuhan Alpaslan in the 68th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Honduras's goalie and right to Milan Okov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Honduras's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 肖伟义 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Skarpa Ełk's Augusto de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 肖伟义 in the 78th minute of play. If 肖伟义 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖伟义, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 87th match minute, Skarpa Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakub Dembowski to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, 肖伟义 notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
