Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Andrade in the 12th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 played minutes GKS Pszczyna got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Tamulewicz. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Robledo having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Marcelo Robledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GKS Pszczyna booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachariasz Zachemski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Robledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, GKS Pszczyna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Snaza to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, GKS Pszczyna's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Marcelo Robledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Robledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Wincent Tamulewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, GKS Pszczyna's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wieslaw Rybak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcelo Robledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Marcelo Robledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingos Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wieslaw Rybak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Robledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Marcelo Robledo made a huge save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rostislav Vorobiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Robledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariasz Zachemski in the 79th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Robledo having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Domingos Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
