Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Gambetta. The Club Deportivo Norte fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Club Deportivo Norte's Ramon Gómez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Prassov. Fernando Prassov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fernando Prassov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Mete Gambetta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 26 in the game by Mete Gambetta from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Mete Gambetta scored 3-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Mete Gambetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Norte's Mete Gambetta. But to his dismay, Mete Gambetta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mete Gambetta went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 39th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Norte's goalkeeper Fernando Prassov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Tabor's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Tabor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Club Deportivo Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Tabor to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Savier in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mete Gambetta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Fernando Prassov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Savier went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Ramon Gómez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Savier in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Benedicto Savier notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Savier in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 84th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Mete Gambetta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Gaspar Haitz with Ramon Gómez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 94th minute Mete Gambetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 played minutes Patricio Costa rounded Club Deportivo Norte's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 7-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Deportivo Norte.
