In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Masked Stars FBJ's goalkeeper D.J. Dolić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. D.J. Dolić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Masked Stars FBJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Maraman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Richie in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Richie came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Fanuco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Goren got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Goren's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without D.J. Dolić having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Txartiko in the 60th minute of play. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Masked Stars FBJ's Ciriaco Goren. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Goren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without D.J. Dolić having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Masked Stars FBJ fully deserved thier win.
