The referee showed Harkaitz Xavalera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of USA booed when Claretiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harkaitz Xavalera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Cassius Byrne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birila Graña showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Birila Graña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of play forced Claretiano FC's goalkeeper Birila Graña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
