Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tetes Titans's Jacinto Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 2nd minute of play. Victor Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Tetes Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 8th minute of the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes, Matthias Eggers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tetes Titans and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Tetes Titans:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. 15 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Braulio Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Braulio Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Facundo Cadaval scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of play forced Tetes Titans's goalkeeper Jacinto Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tetes Titans's Jacinto Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stasio Tokarczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 53rd minute. Facundo Cadaval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Jacinto Navarro in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jacinto Navarro made a huge save. If Braulio Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Braulio Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Luca Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Jacinto Navarro in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Jacinto Navarro threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Ospin came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Zorita got free with Jacinto Navarro in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Braulio Ospin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Ospin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Ospin in the 94th minute of the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Navarro having to interfere.
