Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) When Máximo Kirchner came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Máximo Kirchner couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Zorita in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Eguzki saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Martin Grøtterud hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 39th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Martin Grøtterud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Martin Grøtterud in the 45th minute really tested Dante Lacasa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Unidad de Matanza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Jonatan Eguzki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Facundo Cadaval's late challenge caught a Unidad de Matanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Facundo Cadaval helped the player get up and apologised. Facundo Cadaval kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Luca Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonatan Eguzki. That made the score 0-1 after 71 minutes of play. After 74 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Jonatan Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Nestor Bâru notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Eguzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
