Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Eguzki came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, Martin Grøtterud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 12 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Máximo Kirchner tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Eguzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonatan Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Cadaval in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Eguzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Martin Grøtterud shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Unidad de Matanza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Martin Grøtterud got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Jonatan Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Eguzki made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Máximo Kirchner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Eguzki having to interfere. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Lotfi Ziadi replaced Michal Stehno. Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru was substituted for Martin Grøtterud. In the 90th minute Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner. Waldemar Okopny went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
