Rui Figueiras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Figueiras saved DALO S.C. from getting behind. Putte von der Putten struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DALO S.C.. 25 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Rui Figueiras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DALO S.C.'s Rui Figueiras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Rui Figueiras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. German Fias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Fias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rui Figueiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes DALO S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Loco Alves. In the 58th minute, Loco Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Figueiras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rui Figueiras. That made the score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Fias in the 65th minute of the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Figueiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Rui Figueiras in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Rui Figueiras to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to DALO S.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Urritz Martiniana hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Figueiras skillfully saved the ball.
