Seoirse McJon in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Doykin. Adam Doykin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Angelov in the 26th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Doykin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lauta Army getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Peng Song Feng hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Seoirse McJon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The Lauta Army players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seoirse McJon to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seoirse McJon in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seoirse McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seoirse McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Lauta Army and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stanislav Angelov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Seoirse McJon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Stanislav Angelov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Stanislav Angelov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
