After a rather tough play, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Primitivo Jatsu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Emilio Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Federico Colas rounded Colombia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Emilio Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Munio should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Munio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Emilio Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Su was the one to do the kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos made a substitution. Kraig Rowley replaced Federico Colas. Kraig Rowley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Kraig Rowley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Joshua Garrido hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
