The supporters of Curacao booed when São Bento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes, Marshall Graham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the São Bento players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute Humberto Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Curacao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
