Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Marques came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Sarmiento scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Drebit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Drebit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julian Drebit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Julian Drebit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play forced CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's goalkeeper Julian Drebit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Drebit had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Montenegro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Axel Montenegro scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Drebit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julian Drebit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Ye Yi Yi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Manzanares, passed just outside the right post. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Samuca Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Marques was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Samuca Campidelis notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuca Campidelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Marques came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's attentive Lauro da Rocha managed to snatch the ball when Luis Cazalla made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Samuca Campidelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 70th minute CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ were awarded a corner. Afonso Marques went to the cornerflag to take it. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Giuseppe Falcão with Jonathan Lepe as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 73rd minute, Afonso Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Lepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afonso Marques in the 82nd minute. Ranko Canelas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jonathan Lepe struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ. With his leg Julian Drebit managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Colombia's Ignacio Mastache fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 91 minutes in the game Jonathan Lepe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Giuseppe Falcão. In the 93rd minute, Jonathan Lepe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
