In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind ContraVersão's goalkeeper Didi Tróia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, ContraVersão's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Didi Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Batista to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Batista in the 54th minute of the match. Didi Tróia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Didi Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Krum Razsolkov came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ContraVersão's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lautaro Mancebo 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Didi Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of the match. ContraVersão's Didi Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 87th minute of play. Krum Razsolkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
