Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Piearres came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 11th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Leo Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octav Lupșoiu in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes, Delaostia C.F's Seth Otto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Delaostia C.F reached it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asmadi Subagio in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Octav Lupșoiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Octav Lupșoiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Leo Piearres was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 37th minute of the game Roberto Peyo made a throw-in which Octav Lupșoiu played forward. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toon Landewijck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Asmadi Subagio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Lupșoiu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Delaostia C.F's Ove Löv got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Piearres in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Lupșoiu in the 59th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Piearres in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Leo Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Delaostia C.F booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Asmadi Subagio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Asmadi Subagio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Piearres took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Corderun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octav Lupșoiu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delaostia C.F. Delaostia C.F's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
