In the 39th minute Lautaro-Gabriel Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 44th minute of play forced Assembleia - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Osvaldinho da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldinho da Silveira was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Assembleia - FSCMZ:s Osvaldinho da Silveira showed great skill when he stopped Jaime Pardo:s penalty. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro-Gabriel Viana's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Alf Ödmann's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Ödmann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Assembleia - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Ödmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 82nd minute of play forced Assembleia - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Osvaldinho da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Covarrubias charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Covarrubias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Alf Ödmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Assembleia - FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
