Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cesare Cardillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play forced Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Cesare Cardillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Cardillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Hélio Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lechuguitas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Paz made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Cesare Cardillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesare Cardillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Nabar in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes Lechuguitas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Tercero. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cesare Cardillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesare Cardillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 45th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Milagros Fraga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesare Cardillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Nascimento to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Hélio Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 67 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cesare Cardillo. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Armando Santiago in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. 71 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Cesare Cardillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 77th minute of play forced Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Cesare Cardillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Tercero hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Florian Corales kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Lechuguitas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Corales to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélio Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Armando Santiago quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 87th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Eliseo Alcocer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Nicolas Chaime quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Lechuguitas F.C.'s zone, Rafael Gallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesare Cardillo came out of the goal and Rafael Gallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Victorio Modestio was substituted for Modesto Amor. A sloppy throw-in by Alonso Berganza in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lechuguitas F.C.'s Armando Santiago. Lechuguitas F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
