An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Servando in the 12th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Bitxintxo in the 20th minute. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Laurenz Goddez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa, 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guaberto Bitxintxo.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. La Candela FC's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ramiro Gabrio made a huge save. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramiro Gabrio quite easily take care of the ball. Santo Millano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio was substituted for Damian Servando. In the 68th minute, Santo Millano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Gabrio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luz Tejedor. 78 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ramiro Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Gabrio was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. La Candela FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Rafael Gallo scored to the left of an out of position Ramiro Gabrio, making the score, 1-3. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The La Candela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
