In the 13th minute, Cassius Byrne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Sportivo Mela Banco's Loco Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 23rd minute of play. Loco Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Jacob May hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Quiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Sportivo Mela Banco were awarded a corner. Miromir Ciechocki went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Miromir Ciechocki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 31 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Quiros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Loco Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, USA's Fabian Brown got a free kick in the 35th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Marco Day successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Loco Gatti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Day stood somewhat misplaced when 尹剑彬 came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 47 minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 尹剑彬 made a kick off. Loco Gatti made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Jacob May sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Loco Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 75th minute of play. If Roman Quiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Chano came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 尹剑彬 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Loco Gatti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 91st minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Loco Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loco Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 95th minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Chano in the 97th minute of play.
