Remigio Petrigai came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of El Imperio del Cuervo booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Petrigai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hipolito Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after El Imperio del Cuervo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that El Imperio del Cuervo's Remigio Petrigai managed to reach the ball for a save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after El Imperio del Cuervo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 45th minute, Zachariasz Frankowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The El Imperio del Cuervo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

After 53 played minutes El Imperio del Cuervo got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Frankowski. After 79 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Petrigai was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Atarratze during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Remigio Petrigai made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 86th minute of play forced El Imperio del Cuervo's goalkeeper Remigio Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Remigio Petrigai. El Imperio del Cuervo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Remigio Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
