Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Chaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acar Buğrahan in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play forced SE Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Tony Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, SE Palestra Itália's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Tony Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Acar Buğrahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Dias who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bruno Dias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Clayton Sergi sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Betão Vargas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Clayton Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, SE Palestra Itália's Acar Buğrahan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfredão Corrêa, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Tony Chaves made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 67th minute of play forced SE Palestra Itália's goalkeeper Tony Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SE Palestra Itália defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Chaves. The SE Palestra Itália fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Chaves should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Peru's Julian Murillo to fire away a dangerous shot which Tony Chaves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rafael Gallo might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Gallo ran back to his position shaking his head. SE Palestra Itália's Tony Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Chaves. SE Palestra Itália's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Mina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 90 minutes into the match, SE Palestra Itália's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Tony Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
