Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Frank Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Rebelution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Teixeira couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Frank Teixeira made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 7 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Indiano. Thiago Pliego was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aquiles Telmo. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Guib in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustín Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rebelution's Agustín Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Frank Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Dario Guib tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leandro Mattin made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dario Guib immediately put the ball in play. 35 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustín Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rebelution. Agustín Rossi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Marcos Richie hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute of play. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agustín Rossi firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Teixeira in the 59th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rebelution's Ivo Männik was substituted for Frank Teixeira. Thiago Machado made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Alan Tamayo. 67 minutes into the game, Oliver Petersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Oliver Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustín Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Orlando Casaus hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Rebelution made a substitution. Saul Gaitano replaced Leandro Mattin. In the 94th minute Ivo Männik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agustín Rossi was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
