The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gladiadores Legionarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacit Refik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. The wind increased when Niklas Dalkvist made the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Maria having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Efrain Maria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 69th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Maria having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efrain Maria having to make a save. Efrain Maria came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Efrain Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gladiadores Legionarios throughout the match.
