Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manfred Tunander got the match started through his kick off. If Aukusti Seikola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9thth minute of the game Jyri Rintala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Tunander in the 10th minute of the match. Paulo José Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo José Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Paulo José Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho got in the 14th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Iiro Santahuhta handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aukusti Seikola got free with Julio Vera in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manfred Tunander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manfred Tunander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iiro Santahuhta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 40 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iiro Santahuhta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Manfred Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Svartböle FC got a freekick which was hit by Jyri Rintala. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iiro Santahuhta firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Iiro Santahuhta in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iiro Santahuhta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Manfred Tunander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Manfred Tunander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Paulo José Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Iiro Santahuhta to make any attempt to save it. Manfred Tunander got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th match minute, Svartböle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Tunander to maneuver through the defense. Iiro Santahuhta made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jyri Rintala came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
