Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ralf Albäck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Deilmison van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 9th minute of play. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 21 minutes of play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deilmison van Basten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 29th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Abram Sarmiento put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rodriguinho Sousa. 36 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Albäck came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodriguinho Sousa. Rodriguinho Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Deilmison van Basten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match Axel Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodriguinho Sousa skillfully saved the ball.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Abram Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Ralf Albäck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Albäck in the 54th minute of play. ATHLETICO PRaiano made a substitution. Unax Mudarra replaced Ralf Albäck. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Heitor Maldini was substituted for Betão Marquez. 55 minutes into the game, one of ATHLETICO PRaiano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rodriguinho Sousa had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Montenegro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 60 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Garrido. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deilmison van Basten scored 3-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 71st minute of the match, Ignacio Mastache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Ignacio Mastache slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodriguinho Sousa. That made the score 3-3 after 71 minutes of play. Deilmison van Basten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodriguinho Sousa, 3-4. 83 minutes into the game, Deilmison van Basten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Deilmison van Basten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-4. Rodriguinho Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Carballar in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Deilmison van Basten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
