The audience thought a goal was coming when 尹剑彬 got free with Marco Day in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loco Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 28th minute of play. When Edward Mcdonald came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Mcdonald couldn't finish the play. Sportivo Mela Banco's Loco Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jenson Smith in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Loco Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loco Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Mela Banco's Onur Avcu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cassius Byrne hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Brown. Roman Quiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Quiros hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sportivo Mela Banco getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Joel Vital hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Sam Campbell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Loco Gatti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Teodoro Chano took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 82 minutes into the match, USA's Khalid Parry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loco Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. USA were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Sportivo Mela Banco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jenson Smith took the corner. USA's Jenson Smith was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Loco Gatti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85th minute Roman Quiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roman Quiros who took care of the corner kick. 88 minutes into the game, Sportivo Mela Banco's Roman Quiros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 90 played minutes Sportivo Mela Banco got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Rıfat Sehriyar. In the 92nd minute, USA's Khalid Parry ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Loco Gatti. Loco Gatti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob May got free with Loco Gatti in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sportivo Mela Banco throughout the match.
