Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Miranda went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 10 minutes, Geroy Ascue mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the Itajaí Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Geroy Ascue hit a great ball. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Arce in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Arce got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Itajaí Football Club made a substitution. Carlos Eduardo da Costa replaced Conrado Miranda. Afonso Severo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Demonde Jacobson came out and tried to block the shot, but Afonso Severo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romon Oliver to maneuver through the defense. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Marcelinho de Salles notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Arce in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demonde Jacobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute Gilberto Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Marcelinho de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Eduardo da Costa took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Romon Oliver's late challenge caught a Itajaí Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romon Oliver helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo da Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Severo in the 62nd minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Itajaí Football Club's Leonardo Varela. But to his dismay, Leonardo Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo da Costa in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Gilberto Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Marcelinho de Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Demonde Jacobson was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Rubens Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itajaí Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. 79 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo da Costa came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itajaí Football Club's Leonardo Varela suffered a sprained foot after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Romon Oliver was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Itajaí Football Club booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Carlos Eduardo da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho de Salles in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Itajaí Football Club's Gilberto Arce made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Arce in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Marcelinho de Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelinho de Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. In the 94th minute Marcelinho de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Carlos Eduardo da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. There was no doubt that Itajaí Football Club were the better team. Itajaí Football Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
