Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Società Vigata Calcio's Fabricio Larpe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Società Vigata Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Edgardo Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 3rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgardo Ariando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 11 minutes into the match, Società Vigata Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Edgardo Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Edgardo Ariando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Larpe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Società Vigata Calcio getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Paquito Lago hit a great ball. Edgardo Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Ariando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Ariando having to make a save. In the 31st match minute, Società Vigata Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Negro to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Fabricio Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Società Vigata Calcio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Larpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Ariando was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Società Vigata Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Edgardo Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Società Vigata Calcio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Ariando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Edgardo Ariando made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Fabricio Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Edgardo Ariando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Società Vigata Calcio made a substitution. Vito Corleone replaced Carter Picozzi. Edgardo Ariando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute. 71 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgardo Ariando, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barnaba Kajder during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Società Vigata Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Kajder to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Ariando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 86 played minutes Società Vigata Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Vito Corleone. With a little luck, Società Vigata Calcio's Edgardo Ariando got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgardo Ariando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabricio Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Società Vigata Calcio's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Ariando came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Società Vigata Calcio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Ariando, making the score, 0-5. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Società Vigata Calcio throughout the match.
