The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Panait Frânculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Panciu to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Faustão Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panait Frânculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panait Frânculescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marin Dică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Alexandria Team08's Gustaf Svanér got a free kick in the 27th minute. Panait Frânculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jedrzej Sanocki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Gustaf Svanér was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexandria Team08's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick.

Alexandria Team08's Zhou was substituted for Faustão Abraão. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Frânculescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute, Zhou made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Panait Frânculescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandria Team08's Jedrzej Sanocki got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandria Team08 from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Péter Bánhegyi in the 81st minute of play. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albano Sergi was slow to take the kick. During this time Alexandria Team08's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Albano Sergi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Panait Frânculescu. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Péter Bánhegyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandria Team08's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albano Sergi in the 93rd minute. It was a well-played corner which Jedrzej Sanocki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Péter Bánhegyi in the 95th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Alexandria Team08 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
