After a rather tough play, Deuce Athletic Club's Fermin Ralondo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Leopoldo Ospin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. 9 minutes into the match, Deuce Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Leopoldo Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Ospin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Panama booed when Deuce Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Federico Aimar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bondo Levidze kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Leopoldo Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Deuce Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bondo Levidze to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Leopoldo Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st minute Federico Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Deuce Athletic Club's Federico Aimar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Aimar in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Deuce Athletic Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Elias Selatse hit a great ball. Ezequiel Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 44th minute. Leopoldo Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Leopoldo Ospin made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Aimar in the 56th minute of play. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Ospin came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 58th minute. Leopoldo Ospin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute of the match, Miguel Miralles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leopoldo Ospin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leopoldo Ospin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute Federico Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Leonardo Chico put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Leopoldo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 80th minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Chico in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Deuce Athletic Club's goalkeeper Leopoldo Ospin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. After 87 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. In the 89th minute Federico Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Chico in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Slawomir Derlanga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3.
