The supporters of AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Rahmad Lunggana tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 13th minute of play forced AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goalkeeper Ferit Boğatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Alonso Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Boğatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferit Boğatekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Ferit Boğatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Peru's Alonso Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferit Boğatekin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ferit Boğatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 34th minute of play forced AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goalkeeper Ferit Boğatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rahmad Lunggana. In the 37th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferit Boğatekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferit Boğatekin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rahmad Lunggana made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Ralf Kück in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. A collision led to AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ralf Kück hit a great ball. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Ferit Boğatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Dekker in the 68th minute of play. Ferit Boğatekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gu Guang Cheng in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Boğatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Gallo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ.
