Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Muni Forró got the match started through his kick off. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Amado Gamus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amado Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Astor Senio might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Senio ran back to his position shaking his head. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Gamus having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muni Forró got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, Ciro Federigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caricancha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Caricancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muni Forró. The crowd rose to their feet as Astor Senio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Caricancha's goalkeeper Amado Gamus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 minutes Caricancha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amado Gamus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Caricancha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Amado Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Gamus. Caricancha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 45 minutes into the game, Muni Forró lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stathis Gisgakis hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Amado Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Muni Forró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Caricancha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Tercero to maneuver through the defense. Muni Forró struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caricancha. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muni Forró in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 minutes, Cosmas Simbolon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caricancha and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87th play minutes Muni Forró shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. After 93 minutes of play Caricancha's Cosmas Simbolon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Caricancha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
