When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paraguay! Afonso Severo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho de Salles in the 56th minute of the match. Marcelinho de Salles took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores.
