Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Fernandino started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Marcelinho de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alejandro Villa got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Marcelinho de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho de Salles's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes, Leonardo Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itajaí Football Club and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Itajaí Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raí Rossi to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes of play, Itajaí Football Club's Gilberto Arce made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Marcelinho de Salles sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfonso de la Cruz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Marcelinho de Salles scored 0-5 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Conrado Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Itajaí Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Miranda couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Itajaí Football Club getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Marcelinho de Salles hit a great ball. The Itajaí Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Itajaí Football Club's Marcelinho de Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho de Salles in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Freixa saved Bolivia from getting behind. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Itajaí Football Club's Marcelinho de Salles made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conrado Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Marcelinho de Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho de Salles got free with Camilo Freixa in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Itajaí Football Club made a substitution. Carlos Eduardo da Costa replaced Marcelinho de Salles. Julio Chicote's late challenge caught a Itajaí Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Ferrant might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Galvão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Ferrant ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 minutes of play, Itajaí Football Club's Carlos Eduardo da Costa made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Eduardo da Costa in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Freixa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rd minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Itajaí Football Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bolivia throughout the match.
