In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Candido Piedra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerónimo Molina in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerónimo Molina in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Molina came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Gerónimo Molina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altermundi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Disvandis Larraona hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerónimo Molina in the 36th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Altermundi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Emmanuel Reyes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 65 minutes into the match. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes Altermundi FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Candido Piedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerónimo Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 91st minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
