One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Limus Nunggal:s goal. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Farid Ohee:s penalty. Mandra Suherman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Luis Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Limus Nunggal's Asep Gustomi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Tantan Sundoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Tantan Sundoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mandra Suherman having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tantan Sundoro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 65th playminute. After a rather tough play, Limus Nunggal's Asep Gustomi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Limus Nunggal's Mandra Suherman got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Limus Nunggal throughout the match.
