Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rareș Feraru started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rareș Feraru during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ZarA A.C's Rareș Feraru got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to ZarA A.C getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gavino Tabor hit a great ball. Cristobal Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Feraru in the 14th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cristobal Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, ZarA A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermelando Bustunzuria to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ZarA A.C getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Rareș Feraru hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, ZarA A.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Cristobal Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ZarA A.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cristobal Felipo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of play. ZarA A.C's Sebastian Odol managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Andino in the 40 minute of the game. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to ZarA A.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. James Gordon hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th match minute, ZarA A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marti Cifuentes to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ZarA A.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

Hermelando Bustunzuria hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cristobal Felipo made a huge save. With a little luck, ZarA A.C's Cristobal Felipo got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Felipo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ZarA A.C's Gavino Tabor got a free kick in the 69th minute. Cristobal Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Cristobal Felipo made a huge save. ZarA A.C made a substitution. Martín Palermo replaced Rareș Feraru. Rareș Feraru kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Sebastian Odol charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Odol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, ZarA A.C's goalkeeper Cristobal Felipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 90th minute Martín Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Palermo in the 92nd minute of the match. ZarA A.C's Domingos Balendin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Montenegro in the 94 minute of the game. With a little luck, ZarA A.C's Cristobal Felipo got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Ecuador played a much better game than ZarA A.C and deserved their victory. The ZarA A.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
