Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Rene Aires started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The throw-in from Anthony Alvarado in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Loco De Remate's Roberto Mouzo. In the 9th minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 15th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The throw-in from Bruno Medero in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walmir Catarinense having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Walmir Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Loco De Remate's Roberto Mouzo. In the 31st minute, Rene Aires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Catarinense having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Peru booed when Loco De Remate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Aires in the 60th minute of play. Loco De Remate's Feliciano Iratxo was substituted for Baškim Sumulikovski. In the 63rd minute of the match Loco De Remate got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehmet Emrah Ruşen ran over to the corner to take the kick. 67 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Walmir Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Loco De Remate's Clodoveo Christobal was substituted for Rene Aires. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Amado Nisio made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. 88 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Christobal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Christobal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Iratxo in the 91st minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Loco De Remate could leave the field as winners, despite Peru having more of the ball for most of the match.
