Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Berggren got the match started through his kick off. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Algot Brask hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Småland Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Brask didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Berggren in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joacim Hultman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joacim Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes Småland Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joacim Hultman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 31 minutes into the match, Småland Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Joacim Hultman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Hultman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joacim Hultman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 37th minute of play forced Småland Utd's goalkeeper Joacim Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Joacim Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Småland Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algot Brask to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Berggren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play.

Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Hultman having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joacim Hultman. Joacim Hultman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Småland Utd's Sven Wennersten got a free kick in the 70th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Joacim Hultman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Svanér's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Svanér helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Småland Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Svanér to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Joacim Hultman however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Berggren in the 79th minute of play. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Joacim Hultman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 89th minute Sven-Ove Lövgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Hultman having to interfere. Småland Utd succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
