Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, FC Momlinho's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Joachim Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well done corner resulted in Juan Sebastián Puig drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind FC Momlinho's goalkeeper. If Abo Bakr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joachim Hellkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Joachim Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Koller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Algot Skröder. The FC Momlinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Kielstedt in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Joachim Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Abo Bakr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Koller went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Kielstedt's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Abo Bakr struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Momlinho. FC Momlinho made a substitution. Thor Törnblom replaced Harald Jelm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Koller in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lukas Flinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Sancho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algot Skröder in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abo Bakr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Hellkvist having to interfere. FC Momlinho's Joachim Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Flinck in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukas Flinck in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Thor Törnblom managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Momlinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Törnblom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Momlinho were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
