Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 2 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sebastian Odol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 6th minute, ZarA A.C's Sebastian Odol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, ZarA A.C's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Cristobal Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martín Palermo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes in the game Anselmo Ihazintu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rareș Feraru. Martín Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martín Palermo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cristobal Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Rareș Feraru rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After 46 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Feraru in the 47th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martín Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Valentine's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Valentine helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ZarA A.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Godfredo Valentine hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Feraru in the 57th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rareș Feraru in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, ZarA A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Ihazintu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Nazar Mellon stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Venezuela's defenders and the ball went out. ZarA A.C appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty.
