Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Hurko, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godofredo Abella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Niceto Euloxu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mexico's Luca Rouco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play forced MAN FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cederik De Roost in the 41st minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Godofredo Abella in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Hug came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Abella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 80th minute. With a little luck, MAN FC's Godofredo Abella got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line.
