The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Alebio got free with Rolando Noboa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the game, Dangiras Ghost threw the ball into play from the sideline. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After a rather tough play, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Roger Santa Ana got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Louis Alebio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ordono Balda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 81st minute of the game.
