Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Ciro Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ciro Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 30th minute, Turgay Hafi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Ciro Nerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Placido Oto made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Ciro Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of the match. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. Ciro Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bancruz F.C getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Luca Driver hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Turgay Hafi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ciro Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Ciro Nerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. In the 58thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bancruz F.C's Ciro Nerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Bancruz F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bancruz F.C's Alfonso Tauro was substituted for Clodoveo Matro. Bancruz F.C's Andro Konsap was substituted for Carlos Borghi. Bancruz F.C's Çelikan Koçaş was substituted for Turgay Hafi. The throw-in from Alfonso Tauro in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Ciro Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 73rd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Moises Gayoso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciro Nerio quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çelikan Koçaş in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Alfonso Tauro made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Anthony Alvarado made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eliseo Alcocer immediately put the ball in play. 88 minutes into the game, Placido Oto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Bancruz F.C defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Nerio. The Bancruz F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Nerio should have stopped the shot. Ciro Nerio made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target.
