In the 42ndth minute of the game Gui Joinvilense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Diego Mancebo played forward. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Agustín Saelices got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcelo Rossi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcelo Rossi made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Marcelo Rossi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcelo Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gui Joinvilense in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gui Joinvilense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Felix Montes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 67 played minutes HENRICÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Gui Joinvilense. HENRICÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacinto Cearense took the corner. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Bo in the 75th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Gui Joinvilense put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Bo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. HENRICÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Cearense in the 85th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jacinto Cearense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gui Joinvilense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, HENRICÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Vargas to maneuver through the defense.
