After having played for 10 minutes, Arcan Ekinci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. .......'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arcan Ekinci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in .......'s zone, Hector Covarrubias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Orhan Usal came out of the goal and Hector Covarrubias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Orhan Usal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Arcan Ekinci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Arcan Ekinci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th match minute, ....... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Raul Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zafer Erokay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ....... booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes in the game, Arcan Ekinci fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After 36 played minutes ....... got a freekick which was hit by Kahraman Turan. In the 39th minute of the match, Zafer Erokay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacobo Nores was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 41st minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu in the 43rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahmet Orhan Usal came out of the goal and Primitivo Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Covarrubias got free with Ahmet Orhan Usal in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zafer Erokay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ....... were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
