Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Bos in the 4th minute. Dirk Bos took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Severiano Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dirk Bos got free with Julio Vera in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Salvador Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Los Magios's Roberto Isidor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Bernat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Severiano Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Severiano Bernat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severiano Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Dirk Bos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Los Magios's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Bernat came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Eutropio kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dirk Bos made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Bos came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Bernat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 played minutes Los Magios got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Eutropio. Roberto Isidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severiano Bernat. Felix Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Isidor in the 64th minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Magios's Roberto Isidor. But to his dismay, Roberto Isidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After 68th play minutes Dirk Bos shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Los Magios's Higinio Costante was substituted for Alfonso Lon. In the 76th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Severiano Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Pero came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Los Magios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Pero to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Isidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dirk Bos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Los Magios were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
